I was privileged to get the opportunity to meet and chat with one of Portland’s most famous and talented chefs recently — Chef Gregory Gourdet of Departure restaurant — for Forbes Travel Guide. This humble, kind and clearly brilliant man is doing big things this year (to top off an amazing 2015 that included being a semi-finalist on Bravo’s Top Chef). Hopefully he’ll get to fit in some personal travel and downtime to savor his success.
